As part of my ongoing work with the Inter-American Development Bank, I was given the opportunity to develop some work for their Open Data Portal.
The Open Data Portal: Numbers for Development, is a tool that allows you to download, explore, visualize and reuse specialized indicators, data and micro-data on Latin America and the Caribbean socio-economic development topics. This specific data comes from diverse research analysis and sources used by the Bank to generate knowledge for its development interventions.
To make the data available in Open Data interesting, I crafted a narrative using select statistics to create something that I believed people would find to be relevant: the role of women in the modern world.
